Synopsis: A frustrated and brutal ex-army man runs a "crammer" school to push boys to pass their Common Entrance exams. His fat wife is neglected and rejected by him, and lives in her own world. His brutality and physical violence end in tragedy however, when he accidentally kills one of his pupil's with a blow.
